Lisa and Justin were married on June 13 at the Perry Park Country Club. Despite high winds and tornado warnings, everything was perfect. The rain even held off until everyone was inside for dinner!

Marriage License Fee Increase

Just a friendly reminder to Colorado couples, the marriage license fee is increasing from $10 to $30 on July 1. Per Senate Bill 09-068, the $20.00 increase will help fund the Colorado Domestic Abuse Program.

Before applying for your license, be sure to check with the Clerk and Recorder in your county to verify the requirements.

Fresh Hubby of LA - A Love Story

Dana of Broke-Ass Bride and Weddingbee fame posted a fabulous video that was shown at her wedding. Rather than having a traditional "love story" video, her hubby Hunter created a love story rap with the help of Digital Princess Productions. Love it!

Perry Park wedding preview

A few weeks ago we met with our bride Lisa at the Perry Park Country Club for a final walk-through of the space before her wedding next weekend. The Country Club is in such a beautiful location. The wedding is going to be fantastic!

The reception room will be completely transformed with fabric draping and specialty lighting by Caroline Fuller with Mountain Light Company

Tracy and Sean

Tracy and Sean were married on Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with a reception at the Inn at Hudson Gardens. We have been working with Tracy for a year, so it was wonderful to see all of the plans come to fruition. We were bit concerned about the weather for the outdoor cocktail hour, but thankfully the rain held off until the end of the night.

Tracy and Sean and their families were so pleased, and they had an excellent, stress-free day. Congratulations to everyone!

Postage increase

Here's a warning to summer and fall brides! The United States Postal Service is raising its postage rates effective May 11. Before you purchase stamps for your invitations, make sure you know how the increase will impact you. We highly recommend that you take a completed invitation set to your local post office to have it weighed before you make any postage purchases. Better safe than sorry!
